Hubei Shunle delays quantum EAF commission to September
Hubei Shunle Steel has delayed the commissioning of its quantum electric arc furnaces from May to September, Kallanish notes.
The 2 million tonnes/year capacity high-strength steel base in Hubei's Xianning includes two 100-tonne quantum electric arc furnaces. It is able to produce 1m t/y of rebar and high-speed wire rod, 600,000 t/y of continuous-cast slab and 200,000 t/y of cast products.
