Hubei government warns EIC for faking capacity registration
The Hubei provincial Economy & Information Commission (EIC) and other authorities have recently been publicly disgraced by the local government for faking registration records for illegal steel capacity replacement schemes. Around 221 involved officials were warned and 22 of them were dismissed due to the issue, Kallanish notes.
