Hubei's integrated steelmakers continue to produce
According to the latest market surveys, Hubei province's integrated steelmakers have maintained production despite the region being the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak. Electric arc furnace steelmakers however have almost completely halted due to losses, with high scrap prices but low steel sales prices, Kallanish notes.
