Huaxinyuan Steel seeks capacity replacement project approval
Huaxinyuan Steel in Hejin, Shanxi Province has submitted to local authorities the environmental impact report for construction approval for its capacity replacement project, Kallanish notes.
At its existing factory, the firm intends to add one 260m2 belt sintering machine, one 1,300m3 blast furnace, and one 100-tonne converter and auxiliary continuous casters. It also has to dismantle two 100m2 sintering machines, two 450m2 BFs and two 40t converters.
