Huaigang adjusts blast furnace upgrade plan
Jiangsu-based Huaigang Special Steel, a subsidiary of China’s Shagang Group, changed its blast furnace upgrade plan this week, according to the capacity replacement plan registered with the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu Province.
The company now plans to construct two 1,350 cubic metre-BFs instead of one 1,350cum one and one 1,500cum furnace. The construction period has been set for March 2023-May 2024 and June 2024-September 2025…
