HRC prices fall further in US market
The anticipated decline of hot rolled coil prices in the US is finally here, with spot prices falling by another $100/short ton last week.
Kallanish lowered its HRC assessment on Monday to $1,600-1,700/st, ex-works, domestic mill. Prices have been on the decline since peaking just under $2,000/st in early September, with more drastic declines seen over the past few weeks.
