HRC prices continue to fall in US market
Hot rolled coil prices in the US registered another week of declines as the market remains sluggish and buyers continue to hold off on purchases for as long as possible.
The spot price of HRC is down another $100/short ton from last week, reported at $1,020-1,100/st, ex-works mill, this week. Spot prices have fallen roughly $900/st from September’s all-time peak and more than $500/st since the beginning of the year.
