CIS-origin coil export prices increase on low availability
CIS mills have started asking higher prices for hot and cold rolled coils in export markets this week, after having almost filled their order books, market participants tell Kallanish.
One Russian mill is heard to have only small coil left for sale in export markets at $540/tonne, delivery in end-October and early November. Current CRC asking prices for the same shipment terms are suggested ranging between $570-590/t fob.
