Housing boosts Mughal sales, but exports drop
Mughal Steel reported a 36% on-year surge in finished product output in the fiscal year through June 2019 (FY19) to 343,407 tonnes, although liquid steel output fell -17% to 175,187t.
Revenue was up 39% to PKR 30.8 billion ($198 million), although export sales slumped -84% to only PKR 2.9m. Net profit increased 6% to PKR 1.37 billion.
