Turkeys hot rolled flats imports rise in May, exports decline
Turkey’s hot rolled flat product imports soared 40.7% year-on-year to 449,376 tonnes in May, driven by hot rolled wide strip imports, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. The average price of these imports declined to $580/t from $731/t a year ago.
