Hot-rolled flats boost Aegean steelmakers' exports in first-half
Steelmakers in Turkey's Aegean region saw their total export value surge 77% on-year in the first half of the year. This was driven by increased exports of hot-rolled flat steel, Kallanish learns from a local exporters' association.
The first-half steel export value from the region stood at $1 billion, the Aegean Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Exporters' Association, part of the Aegean Exporters' Association (EIB), says in a statement.
