Hormozgan Steel output growth slows
Hormozgan Steel increased slab production 1% on-year in the Iranian year through 19 March 2020 to 1.46 million tonnes, despite US sanctions directly impacting Iran’s steel industry, the firm says. This growth was, however, slower than in previous years.
The firm increased sales tonnages 13% last year, with exports surging 40%, the firm says without providing volumes.
