Hongxing Steel to upgrade BFs and converters
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province announced on 30 October the capacity replacement plan for Hongxing Steel and Hebei Qianjin Steel. Through replacement, the two steel mills will reduce 565,000 tonnes/year of iron capacity and 862,500 t/y of steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
