Hoa Sen targets new flats mill this year
Vietnam’s Hoa Sen Group began construction of its Nhon Hoi cold rolled and coated flats steel plant in Binh Dinh province on 8 January, around one year after first ‘breaking ground’ at the site. It still expects to commission the plant in June 2017 however, Kallanish notes.
The site is expected to produce around 200,000 tonnes/year of cold rolled steel, 180,000 t/y of galvanised and galvalume products and 90,000 t/y of colour-coated sheet. The …
