Hoa Phat targets US market
Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Group says it has signed contracts to ship construction steel to the USA and Canada by the end of this year. Asian steelmakers could both gain and lose from a Trump presidency, but will be keen to get in orders before the US imposes new trade barriers, Kallanish notes.
