Hoa Phat starts heating furnace construction
Vietnam's leading steelmaker Hoa Phat Group started construction of heating furnaces for the hot strip mill at its Dung Quat plant this week.
According to MCC Chongqing CISDI Thermal Company, the EPC contractor of the project, three 380 tonnes/hour heating furnaces will see energy consumption and NOx emissions reach internationally leading levels. These furnaces will be installed for a 1,780mm hot rolling mill at the Dung Quat plant, Kallanish notes.
