Hoa Phat commissions No.3 blast furnace
Vietnam's leading steelmaker, Hoa Phat Group, has commissioned the No.3 blast furnace at its Dung Quat plant, Kallanish learns from the firm.
The unit is expected to reach full capacity after 30 days of operation, and will result in an increase of steelmaking at the plant to 12,000-13,000 tonnes/day. This will also help the company to start hot rolled coil production in September.
