Hoa Phat boosts revenue, profit in H1
Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Group says its after-tax profits jumped 14% year-on-year in the first half of 2017 to VND 3.47 trillion ($153 million), while revenues were up 36% to VND 21 trillion. With just over 1 million tonnes of construction steel output meanwhile, it remains on track to hit its 2m t 2017 target, Kallanish notes.
