HKM Duisburg orders coke oven gas system
Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann (HKM) will install a new coke oven gas (COG) compression and injection system for its two blast furnaces, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions.
The owners of the Duisburg-based joint venture mill – thyssenkrupp Steel, Salzgitter and Vallourec – have chosen Paul Wurth for the engineering and construction, Kallanish hears from the plant-builder.
