Highveld seeks iron plant buyer
Evraz Highveld’s business rescue practitioners (BRPs) have invited investors to register their interest in the insolvent producer’s iron plant no.1 which can produce pig iron as well as ferroalloys.
The plant includes three 45mVA open slag bath furnaces and ten pre-reduction/pre-heating kilns, and has a tap weight of 80 tonnes. Interest must be submitted by 23 February.
