Higher steel prices boost Yamamah Steel earnings
Al Yamamah Steel reported a 24% on-year decline in revenue in its second fiscal quarter though March to SAR 453 million ($120.8m), but net profit surged 87% to SAR 60m thanks to 26.51% higher construction segment sales prices and lower costs. Profit also rose 41% versus the December quarter due to 23.26% higher prices.
