Higher prices offset Stalprodukt's lower shipments
Despite reduced shipments in the first quarter, Poland’s Stalprodukt reported improved earnings thanks to higher steel prices, Kallanish notes.
Stalprodukt’s electrical sheet segment revenue inched up 1% on-year in Q1 to PLN 212.34 million ($57.7m), while segment profit grew 3% to PLN 16.6m.
