Higher prices drive better SSAB Q2 results
Swedish steelmaker SSAB saw its global financial results improve significantly in the second quarter, supported by higher prices realised both in Europe and America, Kallanish learns from the company.
Going ahead the company expects prices in Q3 to remain relatively stable on Q2 levels. Shipments, meanwhile, are set to go down slightly due to the summer slowdown in both Europe and America, and some planned maintenance outages.
