High costs trouble Benelux scrap suppliers
Benelux exporters were forced to increase their dock prices last week, although values in Turkey, the largest export destination, continued to fall, Kallanish notes.
Benelux exporters’ dock prices were mostly at €360-365/tonne ($391-396) delivered on Monday, up from €350-365/t a week earlier. Those exporters that need to source material are even paying €370-375/t.
