European high-carbon rod prices seen receiving support
European high-carbon (HC) wire rod prices will be under greater pressure to increase than low-carbon (LC) rod if scrap prices continue to lag the increases seen recently in hot metal production costs, according to CRU consultant Leanne Cass.
