Hiap Teck reports higher July-quarter profit, revenue
Malaysian steelmaker Hiap Teck Venture has reported higher net profit in the fourth fiscal quarter ended 31 July 2023, in line with higher revenue, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a bourse filing that its net profit in the period jumped 74.06% to MYR 42.6 million ($9.08m) from MYR 24.48m a year ago.
Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter rose 17.41% to MYR 453.79m from MYR 386.5m.
