Hiap Teck triples profits
Malaysia’s Hiap Teck Venture saw its profits triple in its third financial quarter 2017 (ending April 2017). Higher prices have returned the cold roller to profit and boosted revenues, Kallanish notes.
Net profit increased to MYR 31.94 million over the three months from MYR 10.59m a year earlier. Revenues were also up 4.2% to MYR 297.13m.
