Hesteel signs MoU to acquire USSK: reports
Hesteel (Hegang) has signed a memorandum of understanding with US Steel to buy its Kosice-based steelworks (USSK), according to Slovakian press reports. The Chinese firm is said to be set to carry out due diligence on the Slovakian plant in February. US Steel Kosice declined to comment when approached by Kallanish.
