Henan's Yongtong commissions large pipe line
Yongtong Tube Casting, a subsidiary of Henan Iron & Steel Group, commissioned a large diameter pipe production line using a heat-treating casting mould on 6 February.
Kallanish notes that the capacity of this unit is 200,000 tonnes/year with CNY 180 million ($25.2m) investment. The diameter of ductile iron pipe produced will range from 1,000-2,600 mm with 6 metres length.
