Henan Steel commences plate mill construction
China’s state-owned Henan Steel Group on 18 June held a commencement ceremony for the wide and thick plate mill at its plant in Zhoukou City. This was attended by officials including Liu Shangjin, Vice Governor of Henan Province.
The new mill is part of the second phase of the Zhoukou Plant, due to commission in October 2024. CISDI Group, affiliated to China Minmetals, is responsible for the construction.
