Hegang takes control of Haier coating plant
Northern China’s Hebei Iron and Steel (Hegang) will take control of 300,000 tonnes/year of colour-coating capacity as part of a cooperation agreement with white goods producer Haier. The steelmaker is targeting white goods as part of a plan to produce more valuable steel products, Kallanish notes.
