HEG utilisation, profitability plunges in September quarter
Graphite Electrode producer HEG Ltd. saw consolidated revenue plummet -69% year-on-year in the second fiscal quarter through September to INR 564.38 crores ($78.5 million), with profit after tax down -78% to INR 202.34 crores. Capacity utilisation fell to 73% in the quarter from 85% in the year-earlier quarter.
