Hebei Xinda boosts slag powder capacity
Hebei Xinda Iron & Steel recently commissioned two production lines for slag powder, Kallanish notes.
The project was constructed by Dahuan Group and equipped with MTP vertical mills. Each mill can reach a maximum production of 2 million tonnes/year. It says the power consumption is lower by 20% than the industry average. Dahuan Group has also constructed other projects for Xinda like lime kilns, and blast furnace pulverised coal injection.
