Hebei Tianzhu plans to add steel capacity
Hebei Tianzhu Iron & Steel Group plans to add about 1 million tonnes/year of steel sections' rolling capacity, according to a recent filing with the provincial Development and Reform Commission. The privately-owned steelmaker operates 3.6m t/y of steel billet, 2.8m t/y narrow strip, 1.2m t/y H beam and 1.2m t/y high-speed wire rod capacity, Kallanish notes.
