Hebei's Qian'an meets 2019 capacity reduction target
The Qian'an local government in China’s Hebei province has confirmed that Qian'an has completed its steel capacity elimination plan for 2019, Kallanish notes.
1.038 million tonnes/year of crude steel capacity has been eliminated during 2019. According to Qian'an official documents, Jiujiang Wire Rod and Rongxin Steel each closed a 50-tonne converter.
