Hebei Puyang adds new pickling mill
Handan-based Zhongpu Precison Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Hebei Puyang Steel, successfully hot tested a pickling mill with 800,000 tonnes/year capacity on 5 March, Kallanish notes.
MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation (CERI) designed and provided main equipment for the project. The plantcould mainly produce CQ, DQ and HSLA pickled products in a thickness of 1.5-4mm and a width of 800-1,350mm, at a maximum speed of 180 metres/minute.
