Hebei progresses in cutting steel capacity
According to announcements at a major political gathering in Beijing on 7 January, the Hebei government has concluded its 2019 capacity closure targets. It will further cut steel capacity in 2020 to push the upgrading of the steel industry, Kallanish notes.
