Hebei's Donghua updates blast furnace replacement plan
Donghua Iron & Steel in Hebei province's Tangshan will have to reduce the capacity of its new blast furnace according to the latest government information, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker now plans to build a 2,300-cubic-metre blast furnace with 1.76 million tonnes/year of ironmaking capacity. It had previously announced that this blast furnace would have 1.96m t/y of capacity.
