Hebei announces coke capacity replacement plan
In China’s Hebei province, Tangshan Tonghua Coking Co. and Tangshan Dongfang Coking & Gas Co. are closing their 1.047 million tonnes/year coking capacity. The shutdowns will allow for 830,000 t/y of new coking capacity at Hebei Zongheng Group's Fengnan Iron & Steel project, according to the provincial Industry and Information Technology Department.
