HBIS targets carbon emissions peak in 2022
China’s Hebei Iron & Steel Group (HBIS) has released its 'Low Carbon Green Development Action Plan', targeting peak carbon emissions in 2022 and carbon neutrality in 2050. So far, HBIS has invested CNY 20.3 billion ($3.1 billion) in more than 430 environmental protection projects, Kallanish notes.
