HBIS orders hydrogen steelmaking facility from Tenova
Hebei Iron & Steel (HBIS) purchased hydrogen steelmaking equipment from Tenova during the 5-10 November China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, Kallanish notes from an interview with HBIS chairman Yu Yong.
The equipment has a 1.2 million tonnes/year of steelmaking capacity. HBIS will invest over CNY 1 billion ($152 million) into the project.
