Hawsons supplies KWT Steel prospective pellet plant feedstock
KWT Steel will source feed for its prospective iron ore pelletising plant from Australia’s Hawsons Iron Project, according to Hawsons’ majority owner Carpentaria Exploration Limited. The Kuwaiti steelmaker has signed a non-binding letter of intent (LOI) to purchase 1 million tonnes/year of direct reduction-grade iron ore pellet feed from Hawsons.
