Have Turkish rebar prices bottomed?
After dropping to $385-395/tonne fob actual weight at the beginning of the week, Turkish rebar export prices have further decreased due to very stagnant demand.
Turkish mills’ rebar export offers, which stood at $395-410/t fob just a week ago, have now decreased to $380-390/t fob actual weight.
However, as they are unable to buy scrap at desired levels of $200-210/t cfr Turkey, many Turkish mills have stopped giving offers and adopted a wait-and-see stance.…
