Harsco sees revenue gains in metals, minerals
Higher revenues in its metals and mineral segment pushed industrial services provider Harsco to greater profitability in the first quarter, Kallanish learns from the company’s earnings review.
Harsco earned $17.81 million in Q1 on total sales of $408m. In Q1 2017, the company earned $8.89m on sales of $372.54m.
The 10% revenue increase was primarily due to gains in its metals and mineral segment, which encompasses its steelmaking services branch.
