Camp Hill, Pennsylvania-based diversified manufacturer Harsco Corporation has snagged a $10 million fencing contract for the new planned Mexico City International Airport, Kallanish learns from a company release. 

The contract requires Harsco to supply and erect about 12 miles of steel fencing. The fencing will be fabricated at Harsco’s Querétaro, Mexico, facility, and shipments will be complete by the end of the year.

Harsco says the contract is one of “… the largest single orders ever received by its Harsco Industrial IKG division,” and the airport - once completed - is “… slated to become the largest airport in Latin America in both physical size and passenger volume.
