Harley-Davidson rides to Thailand
US motorbike firm Harley-Davidson says it plans to start up a new factory in the Thai automotive hub of Rayong. The factory will be its first in the country and has drawn criticism from US trade unions. It also shows however Thailand’s continued ability to attract steel-consuming investment due to its established supply chains, Kallanish notes.
