Hanzhong Xinbo restarts furnace following maintenance
Ferrochrome producer, Hanzhong Xinbo Furnace Burden Company in China’s Shaanxi province plans to restart a 12,500-KVA rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) on 18 October, Kallanish notes.
The furnace was halted for refurbishment at the beginning of October and this has now been completed. The RKEF is estimated to have a production capacity of 24,000 tonnes/year.
