Hangda Steel commissions EAF following delay
Sichuan Derun Iron & Steel Group subsidiary Hangda Steel has commissioned its electric arc furnace after a delay. It was initially scheduled for launch in March. The EAF has a crude steel capacity of 1 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
