Handan halts sintering, pelletising due to severe pollution
On 18 September Handan city government issued an urgent stop order for production at local pelletising, sintering and ductile iron plants because of an air pollution warning over 18-19 September. The production halt order is effective from 12:00 hours on 18 September and it is uncertain when production can resume, Kallanish notes.
