Handan releases 2017 steel capacity cut update
Handan city in China’s Hebei province detailed its 2017 steel elimination plans on 13 October, involving nine steel mills with a total of 3.54 million tonnes/year of steel capacity. Handan claims that it had achieved its steel capacity cut target for the year in early September, Kallanish notes.
